When this year's Walk started, we asked you to Walk in honor of those who would never walk - veal calves, sows in gestation crates, battery hens and all other factory-farmed animals. YOU sure did! In addition to raising public awareness about the horrors inherent in factory farming, YOU raised over $120,000! Thank you for making the 2006 Walk for Farm

What
a great way to end our 20th Anniversary year. Thank you to all who
participated: our tireless and dedicated Walk Coordinators
who spent so many hours promoting and organizing their Walk,
the almost 1500 people who registered and over 1300 Walkers in 44
cities in the U.S. and Canada, all the people who pledged their
financial support, and restaurants and other businesses who contributed
in many different ways. Special thanks to artist Suzanne Grover
for designing such a beautiful 2006 Walk for Farm Animals
T-shirt.
