Too Busy to Attend a Walk? Join the “Sleep In for Farm Animals” Virtual Walk! Be part of a compassionate community without having to add another event to your schedule!

The Farm Sanctuary Walk for Farm Animals is a series of non-competitive walking events held each year in cities across the U.S. and Canada, as well as virtually. The Walk for Farm Animals is a positive way to speak out on behalf of animals who cannot speak for themselves and make a real difference in their lives. Walkers raise vital funds for Farm Sanctuary’s life-saving work and come together with thousands of other compassionate citizens to promote kindness toward animals. The Walks are positive, uplifting events that promote “Compassion for All”—they are not protests or rallies. Rather, the goal is to help animals by inspiring others to take steps in their own lives to stop animal abuse. They are designed to maximize your fundraising impact, and many of the Walk day activities serve to celebrate the dedication of the walkers.
The Walk will begin with welcoming remarks, and then the group will take off! When the walking is complete, everyone is invited to enjoy the festivities. Every Walk has its own character—there could be inspirational speakers, live music, vegan food, raffle prizes, face painting, costume contests, or other exciting activities. Your city’s Walk page will post its own unique schedule of events. No matter the city, you can expect a course route of about three miles, a morning of fun with your fellow walkers, and the wonderful feeling of knowing you’ve done something important to help farm animals!
