Promote the Walk

We’re thrilled that you’ve decided to make a commitment to farm animals and the fight to stop animal abuse by joining one of our Walks! You can help us reach more people by promoting the Walk yourself. Not only will this help spread Farm Sanctuary’s message, but it will also increase donations!

FundraiseFundraise! Your fundraising efforts inform people about the Walk while gathering funds to support Farm Sanctuary’s mission. Fundraising is the most important purpose of the Walk for Farm Animals. Sometimes, though, it’s hard to know where to begin. Start a TeamStart a team! Teams are a great way of introducing new people to the Walk. Invite your friends, family, coworkers, and other personal contacts to join you! Get started building your team today.
Post on Facebook!Post on Facebook! Share a story about your favorite rescued animal, explain why you're supporting Farm Sanctuary, or highlight some of Farm Sanctuary's important work. Link to your personal fundraising page and ask your friends to re-post your message on their accounts.

Tell your community!Tell your community! Reaching out to all your contacts will help bring more attention to the Walk. Ask your place of worship if they can list the event in their newsletter. Mention the Walk at your next PTA meeting as a great option for kids who want to help animals. Send out event details on your university listservs. There are endless possibilities!
Have your own blog?Have your own blog? Post about the Walk and why you’re involved. Include links to walkforfarmanimals.org and invite others to register to walk.
